After the Capital Hill shooting last July 14, 1998, there is much
tribute to "the heroes of democracy." The real problem is
that there are no "heroes of democracy" in the US Congress. These
letters raise very serious fundamental issues. The politicians will
not take them up.
We see the collateral damage in the daily news.
